Most dogs enjoy spending time on the beach as much as we do. Splashing in the sea, digging in the sand or lazing out in the sun, they too can enjoy a beach day with the family.

Devon has no short supply of incredible beaches, but they can get very crowded in the summer. The beaches with the best water quality, facilities and amenities nearby tend to be the most popular with tourists, but don't always allow dogs during the summer months.

Some restrictions apply from Easter whilst others don't start until the beginning of May. But there are plenty of Devon beaches that allow dogs all year round, so if you’re planning to enjoy a day trip or a staycation, there is no need to worry about your furry friend.
