An 89-year-old Weisenberg Township woman was killed in a crash in the township

An 89-year-old Weisenberg Township woman was killed in a crash in the township Thursday afternoon.

Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said in a news release that Myra T. Rosenberger was the passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a crash with another vehicle in the area of Mill Creek Road and Old Route 22 about 1:50 p.m.

She was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, where she was pronounced dead just after 3 p.m.

State police and the Lehigh County District Attorney's Office are investigating the death.
